Jamie's started going a bit longer between feeds at night at the moment but is still a really restless sleeper and wakes a lot. His just gone in a cot and we're going to get him a mobile. I may have made this up (i often read this when i'm up in the night with him) but did someone say you could get mobiles with music that were movement activated?

I'm not too sure on the movement bit but get one with "nature" sounds, I find that Arwyn settled much better to that noise than annoying nursery rhyme tunes!

Do u mean it spining whilst music playing. I have fisher price, noah has never liked it, it distracts him more than puts him to sleep.

we have a couple - one is a light show that elijah likes to listen to while i bf last thing at night but if its on and in reach he gets excited and tries to rip it down - same with a fisher price one we have, he used to love his wind up mobile though. im totally sure you can get ones that are automatic though because i saw some when i was looking for a lightshow - have a look on argos/mothercare/babiesrus

We've got this one. It projects a light show onto the ceiling and plays a nice relaxing tune. You can set to go off for 5 or 10 minutes I think and it's sound activated (I have to say though I got the fright of my life when Stephen did a giant trump at 3am the first night we had it and set it off!) xx
