I woke up last night and I heard the baby gate downstairs bang on the door, and I thought it was OH coming back from his night shift. When I looked at the clock it was 12.38am so I knew it was too early for him so I went off to investigate. Only to find Abbie walking about downstairs . When I went upstairs to check on her I must have left the baby gate open in their room. The little monkey had woken up and taken the torch off her night light (it's one of those that is a nightlight and can be used as a torch), and gone down both flights of stairs to the kitchen looking for me!!!! I'm not joking when I say that kid will be the death of me!! xx

I bet you needed clean underwear after that one, little minx. She is a bright one then. It could have been worse she could have wandered in with her torch while you were

I swear I could barely sleep again listening out for her. Bless her it was almost cute, as she had her little nightie on and we always leave a lamp on in the living room so it wasn't completely dark, just wondering around!! Ems I bet you nearly had a heart attack!! I would love to say this was an isolated incident....but it's just so typical of her and I know I will prob have worse to come!! Honestly if I had Abbie first I would not have been thinking about having another one (I was about 4 months pg with Abbie went Lottie was her age!!) xx
