| After all the kerfuffle I had with the coil I had the implant put in on Friday. Today the steri-strips came off, but my arm is a right mess. I have a hole where it was put in and now it's all bruised and swollen, and there is a red, sore line where it is under the skin!!
Hope it heals in time for next week...gonna look sexy with a manky arm aint I!!!!! LOL xx |

| Oh my goodness - tell me everything I want the implant after this LO as im 95% sure I do not want any more children. Even if I did it wouldnt be for at least 5 years as I need to get my career back on track and honestly think 2 under 3 is enough to contend with. Ok so - Did it hurt going in, honestly? Was it sore after? - It sounds it you poor woman! My bingo wings are pretty impressive (when pg with Caitlin Stuart informed me I grew a cape - or thats how it looked if I lifted my arms up!), and im worried it will look odd under my saggy skin? I shall be harrassing you over this as to whether you put on weight or become a hormonal biatch lol. I had injection about 8 years ago and became an obese psycho mess and vowed never to go on slow release contraceptions again - now however Im thinking il need something more reliable than the pill. Please share everything lol. Oh and if you get bad AFs I wana know too |

| Well it's gone down a little bit, it's still a little sore if I knock it, but nothing I can't handle Snoopy - it really didn't hurt going in as they numbed it first, but I had to have mine put in, laying on the bed, with Abbie sat on my legs as she wouldn't sit on the chair , also Lottie watched the whole thing (as I was unable to get a sitter). I'll let you know how I get on with it. I had the coil fitted and that was great for the first 12 months, I had 2 tiny periods in 6 months but then it all went wrong. I had pains during sex, sometimes I couldn't even do it, and OH said he could feel it. Then I started to bleed for 2 weeks out of 3 , and I always had a constant period pain!!! I had scans to see if it was in the right place, they all came back fine, but then they said it mioght be high up...so I told them to take it out. I went on the pill for 3 months, but OMG my appetite has gone through the roof, and I am useless at taking it and we do not want any accidents!! I have also found myself feeling more aggitated with it. So I'm hoping I'll be ok on this new one....fingers crossed!! xx |

| Cos I had a right go at the receptionist as I couldn't get an appointment for the week the doc told me to book it for, she insisted it had to be next week. Anyway after battling with her I got the appointment I needed!! Anyway - my point is, I didn't really have time to sort out childcare before my appt!! LOL xx |

| Katie im not calling you fat btw - iv never saw any pics of you! But you do say on fb/here that you need to lose weight. Did you put on a lot of weight/feel hungry a lot after getting it? Also you can be a bit erm.... hot tempered Have you always been like that? I hope im not being offensive, they are just my 2 main concerns - weight gain and turning into a hormonal angry person! |

| i do need to lose weight, and now you mention it the implant could be a bit of the reason. but i am a bad eater and ive had 3 kids in the last 5 years so not sure if i could push the blame on that. but who knows?! ive always been hot tempered so i know the implant has nothing to do with that. but im only hot tempered when people piss me off. i dont bite peoples head off for fun you know. x |
