| As I have mentioned in other posts Wil is football mad so OH has signed him up for Little Kickers http://www.littlekickers.co.uk/ He starts on 8th May and is going to love it.He gets a little football kit to wear too. They run them all over the country so if any of your LOs are football mad it might be worth considering.

| that's rubbish Lisa. Wil has only got a place because they are starting a new class . All the existing classes had waiting lists. We are driving 15 miles for his class though because there is nothing nearer so I am beginning to think there is scope to start something locally. It is a shame I am so crap at football I am thinking picnic in the park might need to involve a football match this year. I can promise if Wil is with me we will have a football with us. |

| Thanks for the info. I was looking into the football, then realised they do a dance class, which would be great for Imogen. |

| Oooh gill, be very carful as kids football is addictive. When my son was 4 he started playing a for a local junior football club. By the time he was 8 I'd taken over the running of the club. I love it it's the best thing in the world for kids (boys and girls). My club is now a charter standard development club and consist of a training academy 14 junior teams and 2 open age teams. I work at this 24/7 as it's huge. My club won Merseyside Sporting Heros Award this year!
I really hope will enjoys it as it's a wonderful game. Ellie can really kick and shoot for goal and shouts gooaaal!!
This is my club (I'm very proud of it) www.pexhilljfc.co.uk |

People keep telling me Wil is talented so I am encouraging him because it will be great for him to have a sport he is good at when he goes to school. Sporty kids tend to do well socially at school and it will keep him fit as well. |

| Gill
all sport is great for children but the fa's grassroots programme is wonderful. My son has a great network of friends because of his football (not my club) and my closest friends are my footballing friends from local leagues and county fa's. I love watching the kids progress from 4 year olds to fully grown men who are still loving their game and still with the same team mates they started out with.
I'm sure Wil will really enjoy it and these coaches will really bring him on. xx |

| Wil loved it His first class was on Sunday and he got stuck straight in. I was so proud of him. The class is for 2-3 year olds and he isn't quite 2 but he followed the instructions well and got involved in every game. We only had one slight hint of Wil's 'attitude' when he was supposed to be giving the ball back to go in the bag and he was not keen on the idea. His football kit is very cute too. Pic on my fb. |

| Penny. I have my nice warm boots, thick waterproof coat, flask and camping chair ready for the cold weekends sat on the touchline watching him play. Better this than being glued to a computer game only grunting at me for the next 15 years. I already have one friend offering her daughter as his WAG |
