| As those of you on FB know I need to buy a new car as mine's gone to car heaven and have been looking at a few. I've managed to get around £3000 together so won't be able to buy anything that new. Any recommendations. I need something with 5 doors, good size boot, reliable family car
I've seen a renault scenic that looks quite nice, anyone got one? or any other recommendations please and thankyou xxx |

| The one we used belonged to ohs company and had over 100,000 miles on it as it was used by everyone in the factory at some point. We had it for about 3 months and it was great. Just asked oh about it and he said it was dead reliable and a work horse. He reckons it's still alive now.
Yes it was great |

| We nearly bought a renault scenic but were really worried about all the bad reviews on line and it put us off. I've been told that they have loads of electrical problems but again, we didn't buy one so i only know what the reviews say and not had first hand experience. We went with a Vauxhall Meriva in the end as they seem to be spacious and reliable and parts are easy to get and relatively cheap xxx |

| I simply love mine!!! It's got storage galore and I too love not having to break my back to get the kids in. It has 3 proper seats in the back....it's taking 5 of us to Brum!!

| My uncle is a used car dealer and he put us off new-shaped renaults last year when we were looking. He said the electrics were unreliable. However my dad (his brother) has had a scenic for a few years with no troubles at all xx |

Both our front windows are gone and are waiting on Renault to calms when they have parts to fix them |

| I can't see your FB reply Kelly, it's given me a notification but isn't there, stupid FB groups. Thanks Ladies, we thought of the Zafira too as has come recommended but they're quite a lot more expensive so for our money would have to get a higher mileage one. This is the scenic I've seen. What do you think? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201118386250478/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/3000/price-from/2000/model/scenic/make/renault/page/3/postcode/kt91eg/quicksearch/true/radius/30?logcode=p |

| I drive a Ford Galaxy and if you want space then it certainly has that.
It seems pretty reliable too I've had no problems. All my family drive Fords apart from OH and nobody has mentioned problems. |

| thanks everyone, think I'm going to take it for a test drive, they do a 12 month warranty so if I go with that then it eliminates some risk, I like the fact that the scenic has a really good safety rating. Thanks for you help x |
