... your 3 1/2 year old asks you to vacuum

I finished work 6 weeks ago and i seem to have less time for house work than i did before. Just vacuumed all of downstairs (including sofas). I bet Immy wished she'd never asked, she started screaming when the hoover started to suck at the blanket on the sofa, hehe!

From about 6mth old Oliver used to pick bits off the carpets and hand them to me, and he used to lift the rug and check under there too

Kids eh?! Just wait till we're asking them to clean their bedrooms when they're older. Wonder if they'll be so picky then lol

danielle has started picking up whatever bit of fluff /crumb on the floor and lining them up either on my window , speakers or her chair !

major complex when ppl are in and she does it lol x

my sil as a cleaning thing, not quite ocd but its pretty close, her daughters from a young age, would take a wet wipe and clean their highchair trays and when we went out too, they would also get one and dust the mantle piece and go around with the feather duster lol.

i've tried to get it to brush off on rich, but it takes him 7 hours to clean his room and thats when its tidy lol

Yeah Immy used to do the crumb picking thing when she was younger too. She is very untidy but absolutely obsessed with 'hoobers'! If ever we go past a shop that sells them she has to stop and look, and usually goes to find them in other people's houses. She also likes looking at them in catalogues.

Had her sweeping the kitchen floor earlier!! Before when she has been naughty at dinner time and been throwing her food around i have made her clean up her mess, however, this isn't 'punishment' for her, she gets excited if you ask her to use the dustpan and brush.

How long do you think before i can get her a rota drawn up??
