Morning y'all. Just a quick question in regards to eye infections. Madisyn woke up this morning with both eyes glued shut by eye boogers and were a nice lovely shade of pink when she could open them. She is complaining of light sensitivity and said they are both extremely itchy. She was/is getting over a head cold. I do have a doc's appt. this afternoon, but would like to know if any of this sounds familiar to you ladies. I am worried it's pink eye as it's highly contagious. Thanks in advance. xxxx

I have no idea hun but it sounds awful, I would take her to dr just to be sure xxx

sounds like conjunctivitis, highly contagious, but easily treated, just make sure she has her own towels etc.

aww my younger 2 get this alot.. easily treated with eye drops just be carful washing your hands xx

yeh conjunctivitis or "pink eye" same thing. Cerys had it, go and get eye drops from doc or chemist xx

Yep ladies..it's conjuctivitis..or pink eye. She is on eye antibiotics/oinment which will make her vision blurry for a bit. She is ordered to stay home tomorrow from school. ZoooeeeeMama! xxx
