My sil got a small one to put in bag for when out, and kids love it occupies if you waiting, but when it stud it goes do yeah it is lol

We have one of the Thomas mini-mats lying around, OH sometimes uses it to write messages to me from across the room. We also have a large mat which came our way 2nd hand, took it to a picnic and realised what it was when it started to rain. Seb hasn't shown much interest in it, although on the occasions when he is interested he gets very annoyed when I have to go off to fill a pen up.

Tyler really loves his at the moment and it saves me giving him crayons or chalks that he just likes to eat! They can be pricey though!!

well, we have finger paints, crayons and bath crayons (thanks mario!) at the moment that are all going down well so will maybe just stick with those!
