Well I had hoped it wouldnt happen to me . . . . . . . . . .but it has

Cerys has started head banging/butting when she's annoyed or has been told off It started a few weeks ago from nowhere. If I told her off or she was frustrated, she would get down on her knees and start butting the floor After she's done it, she's more upset because she's hurt herself and then rubs her head.

Anyone else's LO do this/done this???? I just ignore her or walk away when it happens. Any other suggestions??

Yup just ignore it - I tend to just turn around and fold my arms rather than walk away - that way she knows I am purposefully ignoring her as appose to just leaving her (which has made things worse before)

TBH I use the ignoring thing as an answer to everything lately! She HATES me ignoring her so its works well!

For example in the mornings she is a bugger to get dressed and it could easily take me an hour to get her dressed if she had her way! So now I ask her to get on the bed for her clothes, and if she doesn't I lay on the bed and pretend to sleep ... next thing she is up on the bed tapping me and asking for clothes!

I tend to do the ignoring thing alot too I hope she grows out of it It is funny though when she rubs her head x
