| Omg!!
I can't believe the cafe owner admitted that she told this woman to feed her baby in the loo!!!! Maybe she should have told the complainers to go eat their dinner in the loo.
I hope some kind of action is taken against the cafe owner and I applaud lisa for bringing this womans unacceptable behaviour out into the open (along with her full boob) lol.

| I bf for 13 months and was still too shy to do it comfortably in public, which is a bit sad as it limited what I could do with Amelia and where I felt comfortable to take her. I have a pretty large chest and as discrete as I tried to be as she got older she'd pull away any special wrap or blanket I had draped over myself.
I think the truth lies between both of the stories. I think you can always be discrete. It's sad but breasts are sexualised and I don't think that's something that will ever change, so you do need to be aware that there will always be someone a little uncomfortable seeing a baby being bf. However she should never have been told to feed her baby in the toilet!!! That's really out of order. But then I also think she shouldn't have been told to be more discrete either. If she was comfortable then it really should be up to the other customers whether they turned their chair, sat or went somewhere else if they felt uncomfortable/offended. |

| If things happened they way the Mum said they did then I am quite disgusted with the cafe owner....nobody should suffer that sort of abuse. I think I would have swung for her if she had been up in my face. One thing that's get my back up is when people say you should feed in the toilets.....do you take your dinner to the toilet to eat it...no so why should it be any different for a baby. I have left a comment about it because some small minded twat (a man..no suprise) said we should breast feed at home Gggrrrrrrrrr |

| Absolutely disgusting whether it happened the way the mother discribed or the cafe owner!! She should be ashamed of herself for even suggesting going to the toilet. I have breastfed in public on several occasions (actually more with Dexter than I did with Libby) and I have some look and then look again even though they couldnt see anything. The law is there for a reason, babies need to be fed - it doesnt bloody matter where they do it!!! |

| If people dont like it - dont look! Simple!
I cant believe she was approached at all tbh, regardless of whether she was told to simply cover up like the owner states I still think thats out of order. I think this is part of the reason BF rates in this country are so low. Like Lisa G I didnt feel comfortable feeding in public, it wasnt due to fear that I would be shouted at but simply I felt embarrassed. if BF was something that everybody saw around them in society then more people would do it.
The comments piss me off more though - 'Going to the toilet is perfectly natural but I dont do a number 2 in the street! WOMEN!' $%&^*(& ballbag man!!!! |

| Babymilly my mum is a daily mail reader too and my aunty takes the pee out of her all the time. I think the difference is my mum likes it for the 'reading' /variety of day to day type articles but has the common sense to see that a lot of the stories are very one sided and biggoted towards immigrants, single parents, benefit claimants and can laugh at the way things are reported. Its views are very middle England, happy family bubble type stuff. Its still a good paper to take to bed I find |

| i never breastfed so i wouldnt know how easy or hard it is to be discreet but in my opinion to feck with it! , if your baby needs fed it needs fed and no small minded fukwit would tell me any different ! regardless of what clothes i was wearing at time ! i certainly would not be going to any toilet i was doing my shopping in tescos last week and watched a woman pushing her trolley and breastfeeding her wee bubba , fair play to her ! im sure loads of woman understand that breastfeeding no matter where is a must i think the problem is men ! , if a large busted woman was to sit there with her boobs out they would be in heaven ! peeking behind their papers and what not but because the funbags are being used in a non sexual manner it bores them , turns them off and , feeding babies ( to men ) is not a boobs intented purpose ! |

| Hehe snoops, don't worry Im proud to be a daily mail reader there's some good stuff in it. But in all honestly all British papers follow their own political agendas anyway. Doesn't mean you agree with everything you read and doesn't make me biggoted for Reading it. Anyway it's my oh that buys it, he says he doesn't believe I can read anyway but knows I looking at pictures |

| I'm not sure who to believe on this one... I have to say nobody ever made me feel uncomfortable to feed in public, and i am a very sensitive person. It is a shame that some people can't cope with something so natural x |
