just watching Peter Andre, (I know i'm a saddo ) but noticed Princess has a dummy and is still wearing nappies, she's 4 next month. What's your opinion, do you think she's too old?

My friend has a 4 year old with a dummy and she has wonky teeth from it. She keeps saying that she is going to take them away and just doesn't. I think you just have to bite the bullet and take them away while they're young enough really because you're just saving up problems for yourself in the future imo. I can't believe that she is still in nappies though, poor little thing will suffer if they don't sort her out soon. xx

i didn't realise she was nearly 4, i just googled it. If Jordan has enough time to straighten her hair , surely she can set time aside for potty training!

| The only thing I can think of in their defence is was it filmed a few months ago so really she was 3.5? Could she be trained now? If its day time I think thats still quite old but I know a few kids of 4/5 that still wear pull ups at night.
As for the dummy I remember seeing her last year in peter andre's one and thinking she was far too old then. But then again if she is unsettled alot moving around eg with Katie for 3 weeks, then Peter for 2, then a nanny etc its maybe hard to get consistency (Peter should be blamed as much as Katie if he lets her have it!).
Maybe her parents splitting affected her badly emotionally and this has delayed things?
I do think she is too old just trying not to judge too much as Caitlin is still in nappies and has dummy at nearly 2 and Iv no idea how well she will take to giving either up! |

I think it's too old. I was at Chessington world of adventures a few weeks ago and there was a girl in the queue for a ride in front of me with her mum and friend and they were talking and the little girl said to her friend it's my 6th birthday tomorrow, which means I have to stop using my dummy as I'm a big girl now There's no way I'd let Chloe have a dummy at 6!

Im watching it too and think yes she is a little old too still have a dummy but she can't be in nappies all the time as she woke her dad up because she wet the bed so thinking they must still be potty training.

I think she is too old for both unless she has a medical condition or something. Lily is 2 and not yet potty trained, i would imagine she will be in a few months. She does not have a dummy but if she did i would want it to be going by about age 3 x

Id say too old for a dummy for sure. For nappies maybe shes difficult to train or something. C gave up her dummy on her own by 18 months but id set a date of 20 months (crimbo) to get rid of it anyway. Shes still hanging onto her babydom in the form of 2 bottles a day morning and night atm and those im not rushing but they will deffo be gone by 3 once i ca reason with her a bit more about taking milk in a cup as i dont wanna take her bottles away and her never drink milk again. Nappies ive not done yet but am starting to consider if she doesnt show willing herself maybe giving it a go august time when its warm and i can leave her in vest and pants and see how we go from there.

Yeah I do think she's too old for a dummy tbh. Thomas has just given his up this last couple of weeks, it was his idea to give it to the birdies one afternoon so I grabbed the opportunity and threw them all in the bin we had a couple of dramas over it but nothing terrible and tbh I think he catually sleeps better and wakes up in a better mood because of it. Like Mario says - maybe she is struggling a bit with potty training? Some kids do struggle - especially with no2s. Thomas is out of nappies during the day now, he has very few accidents (usually only if he's playing in the garden and forgets and doesnt run in in time) but I do still pop a nappy on him to go to the shops and for bed - not brave enough yet but wont be long. Maybe she is just having the odd accident and they pop a nappy on her if they think she might forget? Must be so difficult having an entourage and camera crew follow you around all day - I've found potty training hard when we have a visitor round because of the distraction so god knows how hard it is with their lifestyle xx
