all through my adult life, my last pregnancy and this pregnancy my blood pressue has been 140/80. Now I know this is on the high side of normal but it's MY normal.
my dr for some reason THIS time is worried about it and has put me on aspirin. So a week after taking them he checks my bp and its 150/70 soo he's wanting me to see a cardiologist, who he says might put me on medicatin or give me dietary advice.
In the mean time he has told me not to eat salt.. not a problem I never add salt to my food but also to not eat anything remotely salty, no pasta, no bread, no cheese, no nothing that is going to make me put on weight withuot providing a benefit/nutrition to the baby.
he then goes harping on about weight and I pointed out that I have lost 4 kilo's in total so what more does he want?
im so peed off as ok I know BP needs to be monitored but if mine is ALWAYS the same surely there isn't an issue until/if it goes higher?
I hate taking medication for anything and really hope the cardiologist listens to me when I say this is my normal bp. frustrates me so much whihc Im sure isn't helping my bp!
anyone else had anything similar?
