| hi all, i've been a bit quiet today, and just wanted to share that bubs not arrived.
well i thought it was it when i woke at 5am, and started to have contractions, every 3 mins, lasting for 2-3 mins. called hosptial at 8, after rich had gone to school and they told me to call when i couldnt cope with the pain, but to have warm bath.
so i did and all stop again, been having pains through the day, and bubs is moving somewhere not sure where they trying to get to be honest lol. but nothing consistent
i've been so fed up today, i suppose i got myself all excited thinking yeahhhh, then when it stopped i'm not sure what to think least i know in 3 sleeps bubs will be hopefully on the way,
i dont know whether to tell russ to drop me off at the hosptial and go to work on monday and i'll call him if things progress, i just dont want him wasting his leave, if this is going to take a while, but on the other hand i dont suppose he will do any work and i think i'd rather he was there just in case it went to quickly lol
what would you ladies do? |

| ummmm i would ask him to take the day off - its so unpredictable. i was 3-4cm dilated when i got in (after being 1-2 at my sweep), was induced and was in full labour within an hour - hubby had gone to get the bags from the car and got back to me contracting every 2 minutes and throwing up, i can't imagine you want to be in that position without russ.... i know that with some people it takes ages, but it sounds like your body is ready so maybe the induction would work quickly, i would get him to hang around at least at first til you get an idea of how soon it might work |
