rufus the cat just came into the room (uncharacteristically brave!) and elijah ran over and said roooooorooooooooooo CATTTTT! clearest he has ever said it

rufy then ran away and eli looked really sad and waved (other new thing this week) and said 'catttt' really sadly

Ava says og for dog, but calls out for 'Megom' (megan) all day long, says it more than mama or dad!

pretty much all animals are either roooorooooooo's or aaaaatttttt's haha i suspect the animals at the safari on saturday will have a bit of an identification problem


we only have the occasional dada or daddy and a very occasional mama but never meaning me!!! mostly we just have 'uh ohhhhhhh' either before or after something gets thrown or lost

(p.s omg parcels are soooooooo exciting )

our nephew called all the animals at Edinburgh Zoo "Cat" not sure why cos he doesn't have one!

Arwyn says "dad dada" aaaaaaaaaaaaaall day everyday, no muma anymore

he understands lots, like where is cat and where is daddy. i just asked him for a kissy and he stuffed a sock in my mouth boo! he has run off to wave at cccattttttttttttt now, poor animal, he doesn't wave back.

oh he is running back 'mamamamamamamamamama' pointing at me....but then i open my arms to welcome him and he runs off again. rejected!


we have the signs for lion, monkey and giraffe but i think they will just be cats
