in the last week i have had to explain on 3 seperate occasions that my daughter is 1 not 2 going on 3 (unfortunately in 1 case it was to her nursery.....kinda concerned they are unaware of Paiges age )

anyway decided to take heer to get weighed n measured to get rid of my paranoia i had an obese giant for a daughter and even the HV wrote her age wrong in her red book so......

at 20 months approx how much do/did your los weigh/measure in height? as of today Paige weighs 24lbs and is 87cms tall xx

my lil man is 20 months and last time i measured(about 2 weeks ago) he was 79cm tall, and he weighs aprox 21.5lb...he is on the 9th centile for both x

no sorry am wrong, he is about 22lb x

Wil is 23 1/2 months and he is 34lb and about 85cm tall. He has short legs like his mum. I tend to measure him more by his clothes than actual weight and height. Wil wears 18-24 month tops comfortably and is just about too big for 12-18 month trousers but shorts he can get away with.

Paige sounds more tall and skinny to me because 24lb isn't massive but 87cm sounds tall which is unsurprising given how tall you and your OH are.

well im a short arse at 5ft2 lol and his dad isnt huge either, so he is bound to be a shorty lol
my cousins lo is 2 and 3m when she was one people would be asking when she is 3, she is huge next to oliver, just show's there is huge variations in height, weight shape and size x

At 14 months Ollie was 26lb 1oz and I don't know how tall (he's never been measured).

Sam is 22 months, not sure how much he weighs (not very much cause hes a skinny mini) but hes very very tall, last time i got him measured which was Jan he was 72cm and hes grown loads since then, maybe even as much as 10cm xx

At 18 months, Sophia was 86cms and not sure of weight but think about 11.5 kgs, not sure in lbs.

So in the same boat! Had a woman today who asked how old Sophia was and she was very shocked when i said 20 months, she thought she was a similar age to her son who is 4! That is soooo mad!

mara sounds like Paige n sam are quite similar slim yet tall, gemz until this week i never realy compared her size to other kids but have noticed last days at nursery she is one of the tallest in her room , gill i know i shouldnt be surprised shes tall, was kinda hoping the tall gene would skip her as i hate being a tall girl xx

Paige walks alot of the time but when i put her in buggy i am conscious of people looking thinking why is that kid still in a pushchair? x

I wouldn't worry about it. Jamie was 22lb14 when he was weighed today. No idea what his length is as they haven't done it for a while but 9-12 month trousers aren't massively long on him. At the same time an 18 month girl was being weighed and had barely made 18lb so guess they just come in all shapes and sizes

Tyler is 19 months and he is 23lb 9oz and 84 cm.

Libby is at the other end of the spectrum and at nearly 2 and a half weighs around 22lb and is 82cm.

I think Dexter is going to be a big boy though.

At Stephen's 10 month check, he was 80 cm tall and weighed 27lb so I don't think you have anything to worry about I've found that people seem to have an awful lot of opinions about other people's children and are not afraid to share them xxx
