its stupid.. im dreading what ours will be... i think they make it up.. like my friends oh earns less than perry but some how we did get more than them? work that out

I am dreading sending our forms back
We were getting £100 a week then they deciding they were overpaying us and it dropped to £12 a week and then without warning it has gone down to £9.77 a week. Only knew it had dropped when we saw bank statement. Now I am working too bet it will go down again.

James did overtime last year so we got £500 over the £40k threshold. We now have to call them and tell them.... and they will probably cut all of our tax credits that we do get (£39 a month).

But, this year we will be within the £30-£50k threshold so no idea what they will do.

Same thing happened to us last year. Oh got a payrise, our tax credits dropped, we stopped getting housing benefit (and have to pay back £500) and stopped getting council tax benefit. We ended up so much worse off. Do feel better not completely relying on benefits but still it's an annoying system.
