I tend to laugh when Imogen falls as it helps her to laugh and get over it quicker. I think you know when it's right or wrong to cry, like instinct though as there are certain accidents that you know you need to be serious rather than laugh at them.

I laugh when caitlin falls quite a bit. Usually because she tends to do it in slow motion and make grabs for things/steadies herself and then still falls in a heap!

Agree with Shell - you know when to laugh and when not too. Eg the time she fell off bed and banged her head resulted in tears from both of us not laughter!

i always say if i dont laugh then ill cry, but tbh yes i laugh because its funny, no other reason Laughing i think you can judge when its ok to laugh and when you know its nto funny cos theyre actually injured!
one time i do always feel guilty about though was the time leo slipped down the boat ramp, it looked so funny, but then when he stood up and i saw his head was gaping i have felt guilty about laughing ever since Embarassed

but im terrible for it...i swear i dont get enjoyment out of kids falling over big bump 867241 x

I have laughed loads at Izzy's trips!

I don't think it does any harm - its usually obvious if she has actually hurt herself and I wouldn't laugh then

My nan who had 3 children and has loads of grandkids always says how amazed she is that Izzy falls over and just gets up and carries on (my nan lives next door and so sees Izzy playing in the yard and garden most days!)

If she falls I just say 'you ok?' and she normally says 'ok'...and even before I've asked she will say ok if she is.

If she has hurt herself she comes and asks me to rub it and kiss it better!

My opinion is that a parent who runs over and mollycoddles a toddler everytime they fall will end up with a right whingebag!
