hi all,
sorry not been around much, as your aware having a newborn is hard work, but having a hubby around for a week is harder lol.
well lucas is gorgeous, pefect in fact, just waiting for mw to come and weigh him, then we off to get rich's eyes tested. russ as gone back to work today which in one way i'm pleased with as i can get in a routine but on another note i'm missing him already.
my labour story is in the section, if anyone wants to have a nose.
had a good week, he sleeps 5-6 hours at night, bf didnt work and he is taking the bottle really well.
this morning he had an exploding bottom and i was covered in sh*t from head to toe, russ thoguht this was hilarious...
rich is getting used to having a baby brother and we all getting use to calling him lucas and not bubs lol.
only issue we've had is when mil came and she waited for russ to be out, (russ not been well had root canal on monday and was in agony till friday with absess.) anyway his mom came on tuesday and waitied till he popped to docs to ask if lucas would be tested for richards illness, at first i was confused and said that lucas had a different dad so he wouldnt be sick like richard was (he had pyloric stenosis as a baby and required an op on belly at 3weeks), she said no with his illnesses.
then i clicked the cow meant his adhd and autism, Bl**dy illness ffs, i just said that we wouldnt know if there was any issues until he was 2/3yrs old and that there wasnt a test. russ laugghed later when i told him, its of course on both our minds but we wont know for a couple of years, he doesnt expect alot from his mother, but for me knowing my mom would have been the doting nan its hard. that my boys dont have a nan like i had.
then his sister comes and tries to tell me how to change a nappy, that got a look and she wont be saying anything again.
but apart from that i'm loving being a mommy again, as its half term i'll not be around much, but back to normal next week,
