| Go to a hairdressers!
You wont be able to strip the red out at home without going orange! Trust me I have tried (I love being dark brown with a red tint but my mum always tries to convince me to go blonde!)
The bleach is also really bad for your hair, it will take ages to repair and look nice! |

| is the red a permanent colour? i'm guessing it's too strong a colour for the brown to cover, you'll probably have to wait for it to fade out and maybe dye it a darker colour than light brown |

| I ruined my hair years ago by putting too much home dye on it. I had to spend 5 hours in a hairdressers getting my hair stripped of all colour and cut off short. They then put a brown back on it. To be honest though, the condition of it looked dreadful until it had all grown out. Speak to a hairdresser, im sure times have changed so much since I did mine x |

| red is such a pain to get rid of - especially for brunettes cos you already have red in your hair naturally, I would go to a decent hairdressers, one that someone can recommend, but you might find you need to go darker before you go lighter, or get it stripped which might knacker your hair! Purple is probably the way to go but it might make you look a bit deathly if you are pale |

| you will need to go to a hairdresser believe me, ive had my hair all different colours and its completely ruined it
my hair is naturally dark ginger, and i used to have it dyed bleach blonde, the bleach was killing my hair, so i decided to go over it with a brown dye. OMG.... It came out a bright orange mess... seriously dont do it yourself
i will never dye my hair myself hairdressers are not cheap, bit least they know what they are doing x |

| thanks for all your help girls I phoned up a hairdresser and asked their advice completely expecting them to say come in and we will sort it out but she basically said that stripping the colour will completely ruin your hair (its in really good nick and very soft) so i dont want to do that or the other way to get rid of the red is just to keep dying it every 4 - 6 weeks and the red will gradually fade then i can choose the colour i want so i think ill just do that and let it fade out cant decide between a medium blonde or a light brown |
