| well we haven't been on holiday for a couple of years, and can't afford one now, but my dads family have put money together and booked us a caravan for a week near them (how adorable and exciting!!!). now...i am the queen of lists so i need one (obviously one to start, eventually it will be about 9) to figure out what i need to take and what we can leave... essentials so far are:
- probably all of elijahs clothes (go through minimum of 2 entire outfits a day)
- highchair (debated and can't do without)
- pram/carrier
- nappies/wipes (probably disposable)
- few spare knickers for me and hubby
- bucket and spade
- cutlery/bowls for elijah
- grobags (although he will certainly sleep with us)
- baby shampoo and towels
we will probably go food shopping when we get there so won't bother with food really.....but what super important thing will we forget????? |

| Well Lisa & I went last week, and Im off this week...so tips!
If you can swap highchair for booster chair, even if you need to borrow it - seriously highchairs take up ALOT of space in the car!
We had a very big car, I mean HUGE and it was RAMMED!
Rain coats/wellies Umbrella Picnic set

| hahaha hmm!!! well, umbrella, picnic set, most of snoops' first aid kit can probably stay at home......piriton, calpol and raincoats (we are going up north!) are probably very useful am i right in thinking 97% of the car will be packed with elijah's stuff? we ummed and ahhed about the highchair, but it has the advantage of folding small and being a good place to 'trap' elijah...plus i cannot imagine the horror of him being at the table so i think it's in perhaps a mistake |

| packing for a baby is horrendous, you literally have to pack everything!! last time we went away we had one bag between the two of us and a car full of Arwyn's! (and that was just one night! ) |

| just write down what you use each day with Eli as you go along. or run through a normal day and then you won't miss anything. We had to do that when we went to JErsey for 3 weeks and of the 3 bags we took I think 2 of them were for Tylers stuff! |

| Pm me your email address and I will send you my list.
(I even have an excel spreadsheet so I don't forget anything)
If you have space take a big plastic box for Eli's toys it keeps them tidier when you are away. |

| If you're worried about space and going shopping I'd only put in a few nappies and one pack of wipes. We only have a small car and our pushchair and travel cot will take up most of the boot so we're going to buy nappies and stuff when we get there. Hope you work it out |
