| Amelia has a cotbed. It's still a cot but I'm preparing to change it into a bed. So my stupid question is.....do they sell cot bed duvets or should I get a single bed one? Thanks!!! x |

| You can get cotbed duvet set from argos or on ebay some really nice ones.
I have just got one for noah and he is still in cot. But as soon as Noah goes into big bed i think i will just get a single set (there cheaper too).

| yes they sell cotbed duvets, quite expensive do with all the bedding tho! i think it cost me £40 for a duvet and duvet cover!both mine had a cotbed set to start with but now they have single duvets cos you cant get the good bedding that they want in cotbed size, like braden has toy story and dita has princesses etcx |

| I would probably just go straight for the single size, at least then you can tuck plenty in and it'll make her feel all safe and snug It will work out cheaper in the long run what with bedding sets etc - I find you end up paying over the odds for cot bed sized covers etc. xx |

| I personally would say yes, if you were talking about a 12-18month old i would say get cotbed size but Amelia is over 2 so she will be absoloutly fine with a single duvet x |

| Glad you posted this - I would have wasted money on a cotbed sized set and then singles later as well!
Actually I noticed last weekend when I was looking at pillows, that the single sets are more exciting and cheaper - you can't get a peppa pig cotbed set! |

| I'd go for single sized duvet. We bought a cotbed sized one and it was horrible, looked tiny and thin. I took it back to mothercare. I'm happy with the single sized, it's a little long for the bed, so i just tuck it under at the end, it helps to keep it her all tucked in too. |

| Caitlins nana got her a cotbed set from Tkmaxx for her bday last year. Think it was only £12.99 for duvet, pillow and covers. I agree though it is very thin, and when I take the sides off I may consider a single and just tuck it in. She doesnt even keep the covers on atm anyway |

| I got cotbed stuff as the single duvet was loads bigger than the bed and it got on my nerves. I agree that the stuff in mothercare is thin and overpriced, i got a 6 tog duvet that Debs recommended for £6 online and its great. |

yep! lewis still has his cotbed set as a cot, yet he's got a single size toy story one and it still fits perfectly into his cot |

| My two both have cotbed duvets and covers. I considered getting singles but when I tried our spare single set on it did my head in trying to make the beds because its way too big and just looked scruffy and bunched up all the time (I like neatly made beds ). I found Amazon best for the actual duvets - can usually get them for £6/7. Thomas has a Thomas tank set that he picked which was £12 off amazon and Hannah has just got a new set from next for her birthday that was £18 so not too bad and they fit perfectly and look cute and pretty xx |
