| After swearing I would never have any more children I've started to think in the last couple of days that I could fancy another although it could be the thought of going back to work.
I hated pregnancy as I had so many problems - bleeding, discharge, fluid retention, sickness for all but 7 weeks, spd - and had a 30 hour labour with him turning back to back and ending up with an emergency c-section and I didn't think I'd ever want to do that again.
Its not going to happen though for so many reasons - no af yet, can't afford it, we're still in a one bed flat that we could turn into a two bed but we want to move so no point, I want to enjoy Jamie and he never sleeps so no chance for baby making! Also think oh may have a heart attack if I mention it. Not liking this feeling broody and do feel like I've gone a bit mad |

| You are not alone.....me and the OH have discussed having another (but not yet, in a couple of years). I was unsure when I was pregnant whether I would like another baby but not long after Chloe was born I decided I wanted to do it all again (but not the c-section though). I'm going to enjoy Chloe first but another is deffo in my future plans xx |

| I wonder if it ever goes away. My mum wasn't allowed anymore children (there's 3 of us) because she had health problems but she was broody until she became a grandma (which was at 40 so she was still capable of having kids). |

| I think you go through stages of being broody. I was broody when Caitlin was 4/5 months, just as they get more into a feeding/sleeping routine you start to think its not so bad. Then that passed for a while and I started to appreciate my freedom a bit more eg I could have a night out every 6-8 weeks as my mum would take her, Caitlin was getting her own wee character and learning new things all the time & id joined WW and was losing weight. Then when she turned 1 I got broody again - think it was because I realised I didnt have a baby any more . But after 2-3 months I got over that & was focusing on getting a job. 3rd time I got broody was at xmas when she was 17 months - and gave in & came off pill!, and now im pg I mean it this time but. NEVER again. The sickness and tiredness has been horrible. Im getting myself upset thinking about leaving Caitlin to have the baby, and how she gona react to baby. I feel like im pushing her out a bit and she's going to think she is not enough for me I will be AMAZED if I get broody again, and if I do I shall reread every gurny moany post iv made on here in and quickly change my mind! |

| i was the same snoops....about 6 months was the hardest, but now the 'oh i have a 1 year old toddler ' is kicking in, but it is nice being able to do things sort of together i made myself go onto ab and read my early pg posts to horrify myself but alas, it hasn't worked! |

| I have never been broody in my life. The only time I have looked at babies and gone slightly mushy is when I was pregnant with Wil but that was more about wanting my little person rather than a baby.
Being pregnant also confirmed to me that I don't like being pregnant so that stops me too. Plus my OH was a knob for the first 13 weeks and I don't require a repeat of that either.
Wil was planned but I wanted a little person not a baby and TBH as much as I loved Wil when he was a baby it was a stage I tolerated rather than enjoyed. I even explored adopting a 2 or 3 year old before having Wil.
The bigger Wil gets the more I like him.

| I'm like you Gil. I'm not a big baby person.
I mentioned it to oh this morning and he went pale and said do you want to turn me into a raging alcoholic. Mind you I did mention it just after I told him I'd had a dream we were having another baby and when we went to the 12 week scan we discovered they were triplets |
