| Ooh that looks nice, but I'm the worst person to give advice as my hair is dead straight and won't keep any curls in. I would have though some tongs, plenty of mousse and finishing spray would help keep it in x |

| I would say you need those special curler tongs to do that

To keep the twists staying put, you would need to put a styling spray or mousse in your hair first xx |

| GHD's are great for curling hair like that. Do you have some? Search on youtube for curling hair with GHD's and it shows you how. x |

| I've tried curling my hair with straighteners.
It either don't work in my hair OR I'm crap, most likely the latter.
I'm fed up of my hair always being up as it just takes too long to straighten. |

| curling with GHD's is quite hard until you get used to it and then I think it's realy easy. I had a proper curling tong but it came with attachments that were like a spiral and you could wrap your hair around it and they would come out exactly like that photo - I can't find it online though |

| You could try velcro rollers, you dont get that result but more of a cheryl Cole type style. Its dead easy, dry your hair and then put the straightners on each section so its hot before the roller in and then leave them an hour or so and take them out! |

| From my experience curling tongues get those results like in the picture but they just don't stay put, even with lots of hairspray! Have you ever curled ribbon with scissors before? It's exactly the same with GHDs. Just clamp a section of the hair in your ghds, turn them 90 degrees then just pull through the hair. Once it's at the bottom of the strand curl the hair back up round the straightners like you would with a curling tongue, hold for a few seconds and then release. (It's much easier than it sounds!) then spray hairspray on it to hold the curl! I think elnett's the best hairspray as it holds it really well and doesn't feel like you got hairspray on Get practising it's so easy once you get used to it. It's much easier and quicker than straightening i find now! |
