| We are waiting till next year when I will have a 2 and 3 year old. We decided against it as L isn't walking yet. My SIL has just been with her kids aged 1 and 3 x |

| We are considering it this year but also with a 13 and 10 year old! I think it should be ok tbh. They are safe in the tent because they are with you. You don't hve the faff of sterilizing bottles and dummies because they are over a year they eat proper food and I think my kids will love it as they love being outdoors!
Where are you thinking of. Going? We have decided that first test trip we will go close to home to see how it goes then further afield if all goes ok! |

| We were having this conversation the other day and I think I would try it if we didn't have the wedding coming up. I wanted to this summer but we just can't find the time or money so we will do it next year for defo. If we hadn't had the wedding in September though we would deffinately have tried it this summer. They are both good little walkers and sleepers and love to be outside. No dummies etc and Thomas is out of nappies all day now so would've been ok I think.

| I am here (I already was but it crashed when I hit send). Wil loved camping and was brilliant. He also slept longer in the mornings so that was a bonus. The biggest challenge is keeping an eye on Wil whilst putting the tent up and down. Ideally I would leave him in the car but if he is awake he complains after about 5 minutes. Main tips I can offer are: - A decent tent that you can stand up in, fit all your stuff in and still have room for the kids to play in
ready beds for the kids but with proper sleeping bags too UHT milk in 1/2 litre cartons for the kids milk it just saves having to keep it cold or risk giving them milk that has been left out (Tesco do the cartons) Practice putting your tent up at least a couple of times before you go so you are familiar with it and can cope with pitching a tent with toddlers around - also gets the kids used to it and learning about falling over pegs and ropes.
It will be great especially since you have both camped a fair bit before (my OH hasn't got a clue) I have suggested a Banda camping trip for next Summer in event storage. |
