| I'm leaving Denmark for 7 weeks next Friday and when i come back i'll be 14 weeks.
The scan for downs needs to be done between 11-13 weeks, would i be entitled to a scan in the UK? Im still registered with my doc.
If not i'll have to just fly back early.

The test I had at this stage was Nucal Fold and I had to pay £120 for it anyway! I think all areas are different in what they offer. I went the Womens in Liverpool. xxx

I think you would be entitled but you'd probably need to book in with a midwife and it would depend on if they could fit you in. I didn't have one so they don't do them in all areas, do you know if yours do?

Id be tempted to tell a porky and say you have moved back here. Then after scan say you changed your mind and are going back to denmark after all. Just go to GP in England as usual at 7 weeks, say you pg, get scan/book in and then leave again. x

I'm sure they will. Could you get someone here already, like your mum, to have a chat with your doctors surgery.. if not like snoops said just tell them you've moved back.. The midwife service has changed a bit around here recently (since I had Hayden 2 yrs ago anyhow).. One of my friends had to approach Basildon herself to arrange all her blood tests and scans ...
