| Sudocrem, calpol, wipes, plasters, tissues. Any injury/ilness that couldn't be dealt with using any of that would be a gp/hospital visit. |

| Piriton, calpol, nurofen, cough medicine (just the chemist one), karvol, sudocrem, teething gels, bepanthum....
As much as I harp on about being prepared I dont have a first aid kit as such, just a kitchen cupboard that when you open a million boxes and tubes fall out of. I need to buy savlon wash, cotton wool balls and plasters as she is getting to the age now of grazed knees and elbows.
I dont carry much about with me - just piriton in the summer & calpol if im out all day and she has a cold/teething.
I wouldnt bother with bandages or stitches etc cause as penny says if its that bad you would go to A&E and you can always improvise with a jumper/towel to make a sling. Same with a bad cut - just use a damp tea towel as a compress instead of faffing about with stitches/gauze etc. |

| Oooh good post. We have got most of the above, but we will be adding lots of gauzes, plasters, bandages and waddings after Aimee has her op, as she will probably be put on Warfarin which thins her blood so she will probably bleed out when she cuts herself (mucho fun!). x |

| Not much! Plasters - she had one on her finger when she cut it ONCE, and it lasted 3 minutes Germolene - she has this on grazes and asks for Keem when she has them Calpol Cough syrup Sudocream - used for the lesser scratches, moles and scabs when Keem is requested Hydrocortisone - never needed for her, but I have it for me anyway Hayfever tablets, Dans but always good to have I suppose, never needed. Snuffle stuff for colds So yeh the only thing that gets regularly is germolene and sudocream! |
