i know there are some great websites with stuff on them, i will have a look after bedtime i found positive birth affirmations really helpful when it was really sore (that you say to yourself either out loud or in your head, things like 'my body knows what it is doing i can trust myself completely', 'this will not last forever' and ' every contraction is a step closer to meeting my baby')

You aren't crazy! I did it!!

I didn't go to the classes, I got the CDs instead

I managed with no pain relief (apart from my tens machine and a pethidine early on in contractions to get a bit of kip!) and really it wasn't that bad lol

Ooh I'd be interested in looking in to this too. I'm aiming to improve on the terrible experience I had last time and I'm terrified of giving birth again so positive stuff like this would help I think!
