| Ava is 15 months and still not walking, when I got back from Brum she took her first 3 steps, she still takes one or two but then goes down to her knees and crawls. I'm not sure if its a confidence thing, she can stand forever on her own and can get from sitting to standing without holding on.
When she was born her foot was twisted when she was delivered due to positioning, the doc said it would cure itself but it always seems to go out to one side and I'm wondering if it could be that that's hindering her, do you think I should get her checked out or am I worrying over nothing? |

| im pretty sure 15 months is nowhere near late, but if you think her foot doesn't look quite right (especially as she can take a couple of steps and has been standing for ages - you would have thought she would have moved on) its definitely worth getting someone to have a look and see what they think hope it's ok though, it doesn't seem to be hurting her does it? |

| I would go and get it checked out for piece of mind but as said 15m isn't unusual for not walking. My niece didn't walk till 15/16m x |

| I'd get the foot checked, I had a turned in foot as a baby and my mum had to bend it to make it go back.
Izzy was almost 18 months when she walked!!!!! Thats late lol |

| Oliver took his first steps at 15mth, he took about 3 steps from the bean ba to the sofa, but then nothing. Then 16mth he was walking (after a little persuasion from mummy ) With Oliver it was a confidence thing cos he loved to be up on his feet and had mummy/daddy walking with him holding his hand all the time..he just wasn't ready to let go. About the foot, I would get it checked just to pop your mind at rest. Does she look uncomfortable on it? |

| no she's not in any discomfort otherwise I'd been at the docs a long time ago, it just looks turned out to the side but maybe that's for balance???
she loves to be on her feet and is happy to walk quite a distance as long as she's holding my hand. |

| Id get it checked for peace of mind but c had a turned out foot for a while which worried me cos of the family history of hip problems but apparently its common in toddlers til they learn to walk confidently As for late walking c didnt walk til 18m either and she cruised/took 1-2 steps for ages it was agonising! Dont fret overmuch it will come |

| I am getting so impatient that alfie isnt walking yet either!! He can stand happily on his own but hsant mastered getting from sitting to standing without holding summat yet. He will happily walk for ages holiding our hands - now just one hand. But as soon as i let go he crouches to the floor. I think its confidence for him too. x |

| we found with elijah that he pulled himself up then walked...it took another couple of weeks at least to figure out how to get up off the floor without holding onto someone/the couch |
