Since a fall i had in 2007 my back has given me jip.. every now and then it will get so bad, that i cant even walk today is one of them days... since ive had Adam this has got much worse... oh has has to have day off work to look after kids, it starts lower back and carries on right down my left leg, doc only gives me painkillers and said they is'nt much you can do about back pain


Ive tried everything today..painkillers, bath,deepheat even when i lay down it dont help, i will wake up tomoz and it will be fine

but i cant go on being in this sort of pain twice a month

any other suggestions on what else i could try?

i had the same after a car accident then i fell down the stairs and aggravated my back. i was in so much pain i called a chiropractor. Its not cheap though £28 for 20 mins. BUT after a few sessions she clicked and manipultated my back so it was re-aligned. God it is soooo much better now x

have you got a gym ball marie? i suffered terrible back pain in pg but i found lying over the top of the ball a big relief. Hot water bottles are good too. xx

I too suffer from back pains, but mine is worse when I sit down etc. Anyways I have to agree that seeing a chiropractor was one of the best things that happened to me. Not the cheapest but if you can afford it then it is so worth it.

Strengthening up your stomach muscles will ease your back pain. Also wearing proper shoes and sleeping with a pillow between your knees. xxx

I would seek a second opinion.

I think doctors are very quick to give out painkillers without actually dealing with the problem.

(not all the time, but all too often).
