Once were warriors?

i remember watching it in my teens and i loved it , i am not one for violent movies but i liked the storyline

it just came back to me , think i will have to looksie online and buy it , hopefully easy enough , i loved a film called she fought alone ( saved by the bell and 90210 originals ) and trying to get it in uk was a nightmare last time i tried

I'm surprised anyone outside of New Zealand would know this movie. That's not a dig at the movie at all by the way.

I'm from NZ and I haven't seen that movie in years. Great movie but yes a violent one. Like you said, it has a good storyline which goes a long way to understanding why it's so violent at times. The main character Jake is a very well-known actor in NZ & Australia.

I've just googled this movie and I didn't know there was a sequel. Might have to get it out on LoveFilm.

i also did not know there was a sequel either , but put it in my rental box on lovefilm
the reviews are very mixed on the sequel but i still want to watch it as i really did think the first was fantastic so am interested to see where it goes from there
have also found out it was based on a book so gonna look out for that now

Yeah the reviews aren't as good but then again most sequels end up not being as good but you always want to watch them especially if you've enjoyed the first movie.

Just read the storyline, and it tugged at my heart.

I guess we'll be both watching this movie sooner rather than later.

have seen it at least 3 times, and all have been caught by pure luck but i could watch it over.

oooh off to have a look for the sequel to it!

well i just watched it been so long since i last seen it ! gotta post it back soon so i can get the next one !!!!

wiki has just told me a third book was written but there are no plans to make it into a movie so i will have to buy the book once the second movie arrives !
