now than they are in Oct/Nov/Dec?

Was looking on amazon and the link that Michelle put up last night and there seems to be so many toys reduced. The Kiddiezoom camera was only £24.99 with free delivery (Was £49.99), lots of other bits seemed cheap and in my ELC last week happyland dolls houses were buy one get one free (We got Caitlin 2 sets for her bday). A couple of weeks ago in Tesco we also got a Waybuloo doll for £8 reduced from £30.

Do toys go up in price at Christmas? Or are there sales before Christmas too?

Im tempted to buy all Caitlin Santa presents now as Im due mid Dec so want it all done early. Im just worried that her tastes will change dramatically eg she will suddenly hate Peppa Rolling Eyes or I will buy things that will be even cheaper by Nov as they will be 'old toys' and be reduced or in 3 for 2 type offers.

Is it crazy to do Santa shopping in the Summer?! Did you get any bargains last year just before Christmas?

Yeah i think toys are cheaper now. I know i got a few good deals at christmas time last yr but no where near as cheap as what things seem to be at the moment. I'm tempted to buy a few more things now and keep them for christmas as we always end up worrying about money and presents. If i were you I deff would, save you all the worry when your almost due and not wanting to spend hours searching for bargains and worrying you won't find the right pressies.

I ordered that cam in the end. Matt's parents are getting it for her birthday. Smile

Yer, I think they do generally - For example, in the few months leading upto xmas they always bring out that extra special toy that every kid whats and no one can get hold of..and it always cost a fortune Rolling Eyes
You tend to find the everyday/indoor toys will come down and the outside play stuff goes up with the change of seasons.

We always start buying mid year cos O's b/day is 2wks before xmas, so like to spread out the cost and start early. So far we've got him a 'Woody' and a 'Buzz' and a Toy story tent Smile

I'm being a bit more cautious this years though cos we went a bit OTT on the ITNG stuff last year and he had grown out of them by the time his b/day and xmas came round Rolling Eyes So we're buying a mixture of things this year.

At xmas - i'm going to get all the summer toys such as a play house, slides etc Laughing
