My computer has gone strange! When I started it up this morning, it said it hadn't shut down properly, and gave me a choice of starting in safe mode or normal mode. Chose normal mode, and everything's working fine, but the text and icons all look the wrong size, and kind of squashed flatter and wider if that makes sense, and blurry.. Any ideas how to fix it?

hmm... lisa may know more... but usually if i start mine in safe mode the icons go all big and distorted, and then i restart and then its fine again. not sure why it would do that in normal mode???

I'd try a restart and if that doesnt do it then try changing the screen resoltion (right click on main screen) or maybe its the actual screen - does it have buttons to adjust (but saying that everything would be flatter)

I'd re start. But it will probably stay the same. Just as Lisa said right click your desk top back ground and click resolution. you can adjust it bit by bit until it looks ok, it should ask you if you wish to keep the changes, if it dont look right say no then you can try a different resolution until you find the right one.

Thanks, tried lots of restarts and changing the resolution, but nothing worked. Then it just came back to normal a few hours later! Very bizarre! Thanks for the advice xx
