well im finishing my job start of july(handed my 4 weeks notice in 10th june) iv taken 3 annual leave so far...we get 27 so thats one every 2 week right?? well anyway i put 3 more in to get rid of the rest of my entitlement from the beggining of april...iv been granted but unpaid??? wtf i had a word with the supervisor and she said no you only get 1 every month...errrm load of crap!!!! so whats my next step?? theyre proper trying to fobb me off, i was warned theyd do this!!! x

If your holiday year is the 1st April and based on your 4 weeks notice from you handing in your notice (this would be the 8th July)

You'd have accrued 7 days. (Just as Lisa said)

Minus the 3 you've already taken leave you 4 days.

You need to check your contract though regarding bank holidays, as if you took them off they may have used your AL to pay you.

i took the bank holidays, but i know for sure that if you dont work them they dont come out of your annual leave, if you do work them you get double pay and a day in leiu, i think i may have a word with another supervisor today or ring pay services...thanx ladies x

we have the same at work if you work you get double pay, but if you dont work you get paid single rate which comes out of the holiday entitlement.

If you took all of April's off and May's that would be why it's been granted as un paid
