You may remember they fecked up my figures for last year when I rang to confirm me and Dans income in January?

Well we had a letter last week to say the appeal had been decided and our files would be amended, and to wait for the award notice

Well it came today and it hasn't changed at ALL - not one thing is different! They still reckon we owe them £715 ...

So now I have to appeal all over again...and wait 3 months for a decision.

I am so annoyed, in the appeal I stated exactly which figures were wrong, said what they should be and sent paperwork to back it up....but they have ignored it all completely!

We haven't had any CTC since September/October when I rang to say I'd changed jobs - except for 2 months of £40 recently which they sent 'while the decision was being looked at' ...so now we won't get any more for ages!

We don't owe them anything, they owe us money!

they arent the best at resolutions are they!!! touch wood they sort mine out within the 3 weeks they said it could take, otherwise im not gonna be able to pay the rent!!! Only thing id say though, is maybe wait a few days, because sometimes when we updated ours, they would send out a old awards notice and then a few days after we'd recieve the new one??

I dunno, cos we had 2 last week for the last 2 years and then this one today after the letter.

Stupid idiots!

How annoying. I don't understand when mistakes like that are made, it's just so stupid. Wonder how some people have jobs, altho it's probs computers.
Touch wood we've never had a problem, apart from them randomly changing the hours Matt worked. We had a big problem like this with housing benefit though. I'd given them all the right figures and all the paperwork and they used completely different figures to work it out

they are a nightmare, they causing headaches for bro and sil, one minute they owed money the next they been overpaid

I am not even reapplying this year.

i am sure they have overpaid us last year, by last years earnings calculations we should still be entitled to £43 a week and they will only stop it to claw back the over payment so i am not bothering

I didn't reapply Jo - they just sent a new award for 2011-2012 without me doing anything - never even got a renal pack?! ...and said we were due £500 for this year but cos we'd been over paid £715 we wont get anything til its paid - which is cos last year what we got paid was an estimate based on last years earnings (cos of me earning less they used current year not previous year)

the previous year we were over paid by £500 but they just £10 per week out of this years money so fair do they could stop your payments til its paid then start them again??

Yeh but getting only £500 a year means we wouldnt get anything for 18 months!

I just dont know what to do if they fail to sort it after this appeal Im doing!

Thing is they admitted they fecked up on the phone but cant sort it on the phone!
