I'm sick of paying so much to get my hair done, so thinking of doing a DIY. I haven't used a home dye for years, can anyone recommend a brand or tell me which ones to avoid?

I use Clairol Nice n Easy, i've always preferred to use them whatever colour i've dyed it. You get a conditioner to use for 6washes which makes your hair lovely and silky

I just buy the cheapest, Ive done mine tonight (cant rem name now) to be honest as long as you get a branded 1 then you should be fine. I rem using like a home bargains own and wasnt impressed at all, it was 99p so kind of my own fault. I find it works better on hair thats not been washed for a few days, and make sure you put vaseline around your hairline, wear a strappy top and put a towel round your shoulders. Depending on colour make sure you dry + sleep on an old towel for a few days. xx

Live colours are fab and makes your hair so shiney! The only problem with them is they're really hard to lighten, so as long as you want to always stay dark then i definitly recommend them! I just use casting cremme gloss cause i'm always changing to different shades of brown and these are semi perminant

Nice and Easy for me! My neice has a salon so I used to go and get it done there and have foils and got it free but it looks just the same as it does now with nice and easy as I would never have the time now to go out and get it done.
