There's something trapped in my bedroom. I can hear it by the radiator but there's loads of boxes of nappies in front so I can't see it. I know the logical thing would be to move the boxes but I'm petrified of animals and worried its a rat (it sounds big but could be anything as the french doors are open - we once had an albino ferret run in which I only noticed when I went to pick my wine up as it was drinking it). At the moment I've just closed the door and I'm hoping it will just go out but Jamie needs changing and all his stuffs in there so I'm going to have to sort it out soon. Any ideas how I could get it out without actually having to get close

Get a brush/mop and shift the boxes with it at arms length?!
Id be terrified too. In fact Id be phoning my mum/uncle/a friend to come and do it with me. Id even prob go to shop and buy more nappies/wipes/ a cheap sleepsuit just to avoid doing it by myself and wait until OH got home!
Good luck!

Well Dad got everything out and there was nothing there. Then the noise started and he said its a bird in the chimney breast. All the fireplaces were concreted up when it was converted into a flat so we have no way of getting to it so we're just going to have to let the poor thing die

Awww poor birdie, it must be awful when they get trapped. We go home from hols today and there was a dead hedgehog on our patio, can't fathom out how it has died as it didn't looked injured so don't think it was attacked by a cat or something.
