Hello ladies,

Havent posted here in ages so thought Id give you a little update on where we are now with ttc. After my ruptured ectopic we got referred back to infertility clinic, the nurse arranged tests to check whether there was a cause for the miscarriages. They tested for cardiolipin and lupus antibodies, we went back to the hospital 2 weeks and had an appointment with my lovely gynae who did my tubal surgery. All the tests came back negative so it looks like we were just unlucky, he has decided that he would like to do a laparoscopy to check my other tube is ok and if anything needs doing he will do it there and then he also wants to check the tube is free to move around as amazingly the remaining tube can move and pick up the egg from the side with no tube. He said it doesnt affect your fertility at all having one tube.
Have had pre op done and am just waiting for a date now, he was so nice he said that when I get a date I am to ring the hospital and check that I am on his list for surgery as he wants to be the one doing it. Im to tell them no if its anyone else.

In the meantime he has given me a prescription for progesterone pessaries incase i fall pregnant in the wait for surgery and also I am to call him straight away should this happen so he can scan me.

Thats fab news nutty! Must make you feel more positve knowing it hasnt affected your fertility and that you have someone who is providing you with such good care. Really hope you get a sticky BFP soon. Jade had to take progesterone when she got pg this time, from what iv read about it its really good and I dont understand why its not prescribed more routinely here.

hellooo you. thats good news that it wont have effect on your fertility, also that the misscarrages werent due to a problem(iykwim) your gyne sounds like he is being thorough anyway so hopefully finds no problems and you get a bfp with a sticky bean soon xx
