ok right, im not gna beat around the bush..... im going crazy!!!!!I've always had (unconfirmed cos i dont wanna share my craziness) ocd, some of ym first memories were crying about dirty car seats and refusing to touch things cos they werent clean lolbut lately its driving me insane... examples inbetween my fingers alwayyss feel dirty and its on my mind 24/7i keep gagging because i see a fly n im convinced i have swallowed one =o|i spend the whole 12 hours at work stood up practically cos i feel like the chairs are dirty this is just a couple but it is seriously driving me insane.... anything i can do without a visit to the docs? p.s i am fully aware i am just crazy and the things are not actually dirty... x

I would think that really you need pills or counselling. You can pay for private counselling if you don't want to visit the dr. Hope you manage to get it sorted

I don't think medication would help tbh, maybe talk about it with th doc and see what they suggest, I have it with turning things off, I have to check about 50 times but with me I think its baby brain.

i have the wrong personality for counselling, im stubborn and don't like to listen to people 'above' me very much i hate to admit. keep hoping ill grow out of it i'd rather not get docs involved cos i already find i get different treatment from having a 'past' so dont want to bring it back to the present time! x

the only suggestion i can give outside counsilling is distraction techniques

my son had these and helped him loads , when he started to think the thoughts he had to start naming football teams , songs from a certain band , places beginning with any letter you like see where am going with this ?
it really did get him thinking and broke the routine a bit for him ,,,, baby steps hun x x
