How long do I time my contractions for?

I've just started so going to add the times on here for your opinion

4:43:08 to 4:44:04 lasted 0:55
4:49:46 to 4:50:37 lasted 0:51
4:55:45 to 4:56:43 lasted 0:56
5:01:19 to 5:02:07 lasted 0:48
5:06 to 5:07 (missed pressing the timer)
5:11 to 5:12
5:16 to 5:17

Till they get closer together.
I was told not to go to hospital till they were about a min apart and had been that way for about an hour or so.

Might be worth giving hospital a ring soon just to let them know where you are at at the moment and ask when they want you to come in.

My contractions went straight from every 5mins to every 1min so i called up and as they were quiet they said I might as well go in, and turns out i was 6cm dilated already.

Are you really meant to wait until they are 1 min apart???

I was induced so didnt have the whole waiting at home to go through but honestly if mine were 5 min apart this time Id be straight up there begging for drugs

Thats what i was told but i reckon the mw just didn't want me to come in yet, she was really reluctant. After 30mins of them 1min apart, i called back and she said as she could tell i was getting upset she'd let me come in but i'd probs only get sent home. I was well pleased when I was 6cm when i got there. Showed her.

i was told approx 3 in ten minutes if over a minute or 3 in 5 minutes if lasting less than a minute.....basically when you can't bare being at home go in but don't do a grace!!!
