| My usual letter postie comes anytime 10-11 which is fine...but the parcel person is getting earlier and earlier! Thing is I dont care if I miss him cos the sorting office is on the way to my mums so can always go and pick them up Last week it was about 8.15-8.30 most mornings, well I don't get up til 9am and unless its something I am waiting for I let em put a card through rather than jumping up and scrambling for clothes and falling down the stairs Anyway at 8.15 last week he banged on the door twice really loud and rang the bell tiwce... WTF go away I am sleeping you turd! This morning it was 7.30am On the weekend! I had switched the door bell off lol, but I bet he still buzzed it, and he banged really loud twice. What time do you think is a reasonable time for posties to turn up if they have something that can't just get posted through the letterbox? I think 8.30 is the earliest acceptable really, although I'd prefer 9am! |

| I'd say 8.30 i think. For some reason even when the thinnest lightest letter gets put through our door it makes a really really loud noise, I'd be well annoyed post was put through before 8.30. Guess we can't really complain if they've giving us post early but I do think banging on someone's door is not acceptable though. If someone doesn't answer after you ring the bell then move on. |

| 730am at the weekend is a joke. Our regular post comes at 1030/11 and big parcel companys are usually late afternoon - pain hanging about all day when they say between 7am and 8pm.
During the week I can see how 7-9am would benefit ppl who work full time and find it hard to get to sorting office.
Me and Caitlin usually get up at 830ish and often im not dressed until lunchtime so the posty is used to seeing me coming to the door to sign for things in a state. When Caitlin was a baby I think I got away with it but now I look like a lazy arse!
Id say 830am on is reasonable. |

| the post here about 10 years ago used to be about 6am sometimes earlier! our postie where i live now comes anywhere between 10.30 - 12pm and the odd occasion about 8am, round here i would say anytime after 8am is acceptable as most people in my street are up and out the front having a morning social meeting pmsl!! xxx |

| The earlier the better because it means they're not very busy and hubby will be home earlier Honestly though, I'm not sure - I'd be quite happy with 7am really as I'm up and about then anyway but I can see why some people would be narked at being woken up that early. I suppose 830 is about the earliest it 'should' be. |

| Our letter man comes about 1030-11 the van delivery man usually comes during school run.. so i miss it everytime.. Its the same delivery driver and around christmas time he actually stopped me walking back from school and gave me the parcels asking me to rip up the card. I'd prefer after 8am but wish the doppy bloke would realise Im on school run 830-930 and not wave as he goes past for me to then get home to a card. I recently had Haydens playhouse delivered and the delivery company said anytime from 6am-10pm. the actual delivery guy phoned me the evening before and said he'd be with me at 6-15 and could he just drop it in the side alley or inside the back garden. I obviously agreed, I got up at 7 and there was my playhouse ) |

| Ours come about 7.30am for parcels and this suits me fine to be honest. As we are both out of the house from before 8 until after 6 anything else would be no good for us and we could only get to the sorting office on a saturday morning which would be a pain xx |
