I don't remember the toast being that great and I don't drink tea or coffee..... my shower was on a par with Mari's where I thought I was going to fall down and die..... I didn't get much sleep..... I think the best thing was probably the lunch me and OH shared at the unit just before we got home and dressing Arwyn up in her going home outfit...... oh, and going HOME!!

For me it was most definately the Tea and Toast, as I had had an epidural, which im still sure they OD'd me with they wouldn't let me get up and walk straight away so they advised me to have a bed bath (great Rolling Eyes

) so it wasn't until I got home the next day that I actually had a proper bath!

Also I think sleep, I went into labour at 4am..but didn't go to bed the night before till about 12am so had only had 4 hours sleep! xx

Everyone always says the tea and toast but i couldnt face it! For me it was the moment Ryan walked in to see Jack and him saying 'Is that my brother?' I'll never forget that. Oh and of course the shower!

Mine was the shower as i had a c section and felt really scummy!

I have to admit though that i did have a full face of make up on and also straightened my hair Very Happy

I hate tea but the tea and toast was brilliant. Lots of sugar after the shock of having Aimee. I am like Mari and Pixel, though I was going to die in the shower and have no idea how they even let me have one.

With Lily I was too busy throwing up that I just wanted to sleep it all off, not that I got any.

I kept being promised tea and toast and they didn't bring me any! I hadn't eaten the day before I had him either so i was starving! The mw promised to come and get me from the shower because I was so poorly but forgot and I passed out and the emergency buzzers got pulled so I didn't enjoy that either! I think the bitI appreciated most was when I got home and hubby got us fish and chips from the chippy nomnom! I enjoyed them so much! x

it'd have to be my strawberry jam toast and cuppa tea. Also when they eventually took out my damn catheter hated that thing Laughing

not being in pain for me. i had been in agony for 6 monhts cos of my spd so it was nice to just lie on the bed and not be in pain. ooh and i had tomatos on toast the next morning and it was amazing. even now it still reminds me of havin#g alfie x
