| Pets in beds? At the moment Max shares our bed. We know that he doesn't have worms, fleas etc.. and he hasn't been outside yet. Some people I know think we are disgusting. He doesn't even stay on our bed all night anyways. When I wake up in the night he is usually gone. I have read online that cats don't pose so much of a risk sleeping in beds as dogs do. |

| my cat has his own bed. but I always wake to find him in mine.
its not disgusting at all. the way I see it is hes my cat hes indoors so I know where hes been. hes wormed and de flead so if he wants a cuddle he can get one. saying that I have to work and touch animals day in day out so I might have a different opinion from everyone else.
cats tend to be lighter sleepers anyway and will always sleep for a bit then go off and find somewhere else to sleep so he probably isnt in your bed long. |

| TBH if they go outside then its a total NO NO for me!! Cos that really is gross when they've been walking in the grass etc and they could pick up fleas or anything! So if he is staying as a house cat he won't get grubby feet!
I used to let Biggles on the end of my bed, not in it, but only when I lived on my own cos i was a ninny lol ... but I think there is a big difference to on the bed and in the bed, cos they can always have their own blanket on top of the bed
Dogs are gross though - I have seen my dogs do a wee on the yard and it runs onto their foot...or one does a wee and the other runs though it etc etc ... dont want that pee getting in my bed! |

| My cats literally OWN my bed Mine are house cats so they are very clean. Since a child, my family have always allowed the animals on the bed. Same as Steph, our animals are de-flead and wormed. It can get annoying at night because they hog the bed and I can hardly move my legs. One cat is very clingy and loves to be near my face/head |

| I am so glad I'm not the only one TBH I find that the purring helps me to sleep. I want to keep Max as a house cat as it is much safer, just need to stop him trying to make a break for it as soon as we open the front or back door |

| My cat doesnt even come inside He's an outdoor cat and hates coming in so he gets fed in the utility (which has a cat flap) but not actually in the bungalow. When we had a dog she slept in the kitchen and that was it, I hate pet hairs anyway let alone in my bed, the thought makes me If we had a cute little kitten it would probably be different though |

| When I've had dogs they've not been allowed upstairs. Ours have always been big dogs though so can see it being a little different if they're tiny ones. I had a cat when I was little and she wasn't allowed on the beds either. |
