sorry if this is in the wrong section... benji is about to wake up and i need some advice... what decorations for a wedding reception doo can you think of? it's in a social club, very cheap wedding, so nothing flashy is needed lol i have tons of burgundy/ivory balloons and the matching curling ribbon... along with some posher helium balloons with mr and mrs/just married on... i have quite a number of banners (just married/congrats/onyourweddingday) etc the club doesn't allow confetti on the tables, as it takes too long to get out the carpet apparently ... i have champagne bubbles for the tables and i will be putting red/ivory rose petals on the cake table... anymore ideas?? cheap as possible please i was thinking of putting some collage photos of me and adam around the room, like a trip down memory lane for the last 5 years...is that a bit blah?? thanks ladies xx

On eBay they do some nice scatter crystals you can put over the tables which look quite nice. Another idea is too scatter love heart sweets on the table. You could also hire a fish bowl and put a few tealight candles in with some crystals as a centre piece sorry that's all I can think of ATM

Would they let you use petals on the tables? We did that instead of table confetti and it looked reall pretty. They are much bigger so shouldnt be a problem for them to get up. x

) yeah tied to each chair in our colours (burgundy/ivory) i'm not a one for a load of flashiness...dress is simple, registry office is simple, so would be a bit odd if evening doo was all posh lol i love the room, and the balloons with the curling ribbon tied to the chairs will add a lil something, but not make it OTT! xx

I think what your doing already sounds plenty are you going to have the wedding favours? (is it normally 5 almonds?) as you have the ribbon for the balloons you could buy some burgundy netting and icory sugar coated almonds and make them yourself?
