| Hi Ladies,
Now i Know if not all but most of you ladies have a creative side to yourselves.
As you know i am getting married next year and i am very much stuck on ideas for Wedding favors.
I don't really want almonds or mints as favors but still want to have cheap favors.
Any suggestions would be great.
Char

We had loveheart sweets! My friend went to a wedding recently and the the bride was book publisher and instead of favours everyone got a book! (probably not a cheap option though)! Why dont you do something personal to you - what do you do for a living? What sweets do you like? What are your hobbies? At the end of the day the favours arent that important and loads of people leave them on the table so I deffo wouldnt go to a lot of expence.

I was at one yesterday, the men all got a lucky dip lotto ticket (they called the numbers out later in the night) and the women got a breast cancer pin badge attached to a card that said a donation had been made on our behalf (my lotto ticket only got 2 numbers )

We had love hearts too. The minature packs. We put them in boxes with lids. I lined the boxes with tissue paper that was colour coorindated. I then had minature sewing kids with our names and the wedding date made up for the ladies to go in their boxes. x

I'm having little glass jars filled with the red and white heart sweets from haribo star mix I saved all the stage 1 jars I used when weaning Hannah and have stripped all the sticky stuff off, spray painted the lids silver (you could do a colour to match your theme or cover with material?), tied a coordinating ribbon around and stuck on a label with our names and wedding date (printed myself and glued on). Jars were kinda free because I used then anyway and would have just shoved them in recycling, sweets have cost £15 for two huge sacks, bought ribbon cheap from ebay and spray paint was £5 from B&Q so all in 90 favors cost about £25 to make (but a lot of blood sweat and tears ). xx

Ladies thank you for the fab ideas really gave me something to think about. I did suggest scratch cards to OH b4 but he said it will look tacky. lol. I liked it. The little tester perfumes and aftershave sounds good. I love the sweet ideas too, might do that for the children. Deb thats a great thing u have done. I think we might put 3 luxury chocolates in a box so they can nibble on them through the speeches etc. The chocos will only be from costco mindue lol. I am only looking to send £50 on favors. Thanks again Char
