Not the kind you smoke. I posted weeks back about coccyx pain. Well its worse than before the coccyx pain, really regret it if i sit too long or in too hard or soft a chair. But now other joints seem to be getting in on the act, my ankles and heels esp on left are stff and painful esp again if i sit too long when i get up i can only hobble. But its also in my knees and sometimes hips. Have also had episodes of aching neck and shoulders/elbows though not as severe or as often. Just sat here now my knees and ankles ache

Went to see gp yest as its been knocking on a month now, hes texting for inflammation in the joints and arthritis type stuff. I said I knew my weight was prob a factor and he said possibly but wanted to rule out any nasties first and if not it could be the aftermath of a virus though ive not felt anymore crap than you would expect wth two small people or my weight though im doing smething about that. Hes also started me on a painkiller/anti inflammatory called naproxen. Ive gotta take it twice a dy tl i go back to get the blood results

I had something similar after Oliver was born..similar pain in my lower back and for months after he was born I had reeeeally bad knee's..they felt like they were going to give way constantly. I went to the doctor about it after about 6-7mth and she just gave me some physio exercises to do and said its probably down to your body recovering from having a baby

Anyhoo, I tried the exercises but they didn't really do much. Its wasn't until I finished breastfeeding at 8mth (well it was a couple of months later) that I actually noticed that the pain had really calmed down, basically into nothingness!! I then began to have quite a bad back but put that down to carrying a big heffer round (as he didn't crawl till 12mth).

Its only been this past few days I've actually noticed the pain in my knee's seems to be coming back I wonder if it is something to do with pregnancy, breastfeeding and hormones Could be something in it?!

Also, i've also had bad hips since I was 18..pain and clicking. I always took cod liver oil which seemed to really help..but when I got pg with O that was the one thing I never suffered with funnily enough.

ohhh i'm in agony at the moment with pains in ankles and heels, i've been in tears with it and i look like an old woman getting up from a chair, or just sitting for any lenght of period, even getting out the car hurts, i'm all bent over but after about 10-15 steps i'm fine.

i put it down to wooden floors and needing new slippers, but my ankles and heels feel tight when i move them around in circles, so not too sure, i said to russ i need to go to docs about it. its like

i've had backpain since labour, and was told i would because epidural took ages to put in, and 7 attempts (ouch) but hes 2 months old so was going to pop to docs, but like you i'm thinking weight is a factor and my docs will just say its that

feeling your pain hope it eases soon xx

Naproxen is what I have for my coccyx and hip pain - its not very good for long term tho, and I try not to use it

TBH though the only thing I find that helps is not sitting down for long - and since I gave up office work its been alot better, now I only sit for 2 hours or so

It might be a nerve and coccyx bone is resting on it. Go for a nice massage.
