I've had to have showers every day since H was born as it's quicker. But I really like a nice hot bath and being able to just relax and sometimes drift off.

I ran one last week, she was asleep i got in and as soon as i stepped in i felt relaxed the tempreture was perfect etc. then she woke up screaming so i had a quick wash and got out.

Last night Trev drew me a bath, I got in 2 hours later, put more hot water in but it was just pants. i couldnt relax nothing.

why though all i want is a comfy relaxing bath

Me too. I used to bath all the time. I think I've managed two since Jamie was born and they were 10 minute jobs rather than a long soak

I used to love having a lovely relaxing bath but Stephen seems to have an inbuilt radar that mummy is in the bath and despite being a really good sleeper normally, he always wakes up crying when i try and have one! x

I gave up on baths a few months back, I can't have one after the kids have gone to bed because it disturbs Thomas (only a thin wall seperating his head and my butt ), I can't have one during the day for obvious reasons and I can't have one when Paul is home because I just have both kids stood at the bottom of the stairs shouting MUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMM MUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYY!!!!!! the whole time. OH rarely takes both kids out together alone but when he does it's usually so I can get some jobs done not so I can relax . Only time I can is when the kids go to my mums (every 2 monthsish) but then I feel guilty that I should be getting on with stuff or spending quality time with OH so I don't. Can't actually remember the last time I had a nice bath

I cant have baths atm as I keep going to faint when I get out of them. I love a nice hot bath but, one of the most enjoyable things you can do when pg. I got lovely bath stuff for my bday too that I havent been able to use yet.

After Caitlin was born I think I bathed every day for about a fortnight, but was literally 5-10 min in a shallow luke warm bath with tea tree oil or something in it to soothe my stitches. Not the same as a hot bubbly soak.

Hopefully you get one soon, I used to love having a bath with candles and a glass of wine. took until Caitlin was about 18 months for me to be able to relax enough to do that if I was in the house on my own in the evening - and I got pg again about 2 months later so that stage didnt last long!
