One of my best friends is getting married in March, and he has invited us to his engagement party and said Harry can come too, which was a relief as its a Saturday evening and there is no way for us to get a babysitter... So I said I would definately be there and asked where it was. The Monkbar Hotel The place where my ex is now head chef (we got together when I worked there as a waitress) and now I don't want to go. He was a horrible violent liar and I don't want to even see him, and I know I will see him as he never stays in the kitchens and most of the waiting staff there know who I am and will be acting as his little minion spies! lol.

I don't know what to do, I really want to celebrate my friends engagement as he is a good friend but I really really don't want to take Harry now as I dont want that pig in the same building as him so I don't know what to do x

Hmmm is he likely to be working? Would there maybe not be someone else working that day?

Is he likely to cause trouble?

If he's not going to cause trouble be violent or verbally absuive then go so him you've moved on are happy and that you've a beautiful little boy.

I'd go. Just ignore him and have a good time. He can't do anything to you as he's on duty.

I'd feel anxious too but I think you need to go, completely ignore him and his minions and just have a good time celebrating your friends engagement. xx

i'd go hun, be proud of who you are, and your little family, also if he does cause trouble he is being an idiot because it is place of work and probably loose his job,

i too would be anxious but go hope you enjoy it xx

I'd be anxious too but i'd go, and show him just how happy you are without him, what a gorgeous family you've got and what a prick he was to let you go in the first place. If he is violent or abusive or any of the staff say or even seem to treat you differently i'd get complaining and see it as a bonus!
