Can anyone give me an idea what/how much a nearly 9 month old should be eating! As I'm worried Rhys isn't eating enough! He still has four 8oz bottles a day!

Ta in advance

Xx

ummm i think elijah was onto about 3 meals a day by 8 months - although probably mostly still purees (didn't get onto crunchy or very textured stuff til he had teeth at about 8 months+).

i think he was probably having baby cereal in the morning, a stage2 jar at lunch and maybe a bit of yogurt then probably a stage2 jar (or same amount of homemade pasta or similar) and some pureed/mashed fruit or something (about a stage 1 jar sized portion of pudding).

he definitely wasn't getting snacks at 8 months, probably wasn't finishing all 3 meals and was getting bf morning, mid-morning, mid-afternoon, early evening and through the night if he needed.

Noah was on 3 meals a day more of a little snack at lunch time and 3 5oz bottles a day.
He was on our food though at that age.

I know Jamie's a bit younger but my hv told me they need 21oz of milk a day anyway. Think she said that was up to a year

He has 3 meals a day, breakfast of cereal, then a feed himself lunch of ham, cheese and bread or rice cakes and then a yoghurt (only the yoghurt really actually gets eaten) then dinner he has half a jar of stage 2 food or equivalent of our food and a yoghurt for pud! He doesn't have snacks as such unless it's a treat like some ice cream or if we are eating at very different times to him! He has juice or water with his meals too!

He is very active too but I am worrying much more this time round! You'd think with age I'd worry less!

Thank you again ladies xxxx
