| erm.... ignore it? or move him somewhere safe and then ignore him (like in his cot or travel cot or something) he's doing it for a reaction and should stop pretty quickly if you ignore.... easier said than done i know |

| I think most kids go through it... they don't really see it as hurting themselves but getting a different reaction from mum or dad. all you can do is put him somewhere he can't hurt himself and then ignore him.
Otherwise he'll know that he gets attention or a reaction from you by doing it and it will make him do it more. Does he have a travel cot or play pen you can pop him in? or put him in his highchair maybe and just tell him why you've done it then let him calm down and get him back out? |

| I would suggest a harm proof naughty corner everytime he does it straight to there.

| just find somewhere as safe as possible, cot maybe or a travel cot which is much softer might be a good idea.....also the main thing i have learned recently is 'pick your battles' ...if what he is doing isnt actually that bad/dangerous then decide whether it's worth the argument!!! |

| Just pop him in the pushchair for a minute to cool off and give you both a chance to calm down cos they get you stressed out too. This is what I did with Harry at Benji's age when I thought he was a bit young for the naughty spot/corner etc xx |
