Was only thinking of you yesterday and how you were feeling with your !

Make a note of everything that happened + injuries and time off work + anything else that happens in the next few weeks / months (stress, nightmares, flashbacks, panic driving, children upset etc.) Draw a diagram if you can, take photos of the place it happened / car damage / injuries. Make a note of any other losses - additional things damaged in car, personal possessions, shoes etc. and children's car seats as they will have to be replaced won't they?

I hope the stupid woman learned her lesson and drives better (if at all!) as a result.

P.S. would also go to the gp anyway - then it's logged there too for as and when your medical records are accessed. But also you will more than likely benefit from some physio for whiplash at a later date, or other stuff like acupuncture or referral to chiropractor depending on symptoms. Oh, and turn down a first offer Claims can take ages though, get better and look after yourself & boys first xx

Just saw this gemz. So glad everyone relatively ok. You did very well for breaking so quick. Hope the insurance gets sorted soon.

Oh and screw work, they dont seem to do you any favours and if they gonna be pissed at you for taking time off anyway you might as well take as much off as you can!

well leo said he has no aches or pains today(although not sure if its just because he wanted to go on his school trip) i told the school what happend so they will keep an eye on him, he has a bruise from the seatbelt, when iv looked at the car, the back seat where he was sat has come away from the base ! oliver seems grumpy today but not sure if its because of his teething but oh my god my back and neck are so sore and stiff, also my hips im going to gp in the morning, i need some stronger painkillers for this foot so i will mention everything else then.

Awww, im glad that Leo isnt in any pain today, and hopefully it is just Olli's teeth that are making him grumpy.

Glad boys seem ok, that's a bump and a half if it's bruised and taken the seat belt out though

Everything will have tensed - urgh - can feel my neck ceasing up just thinking of it! You can try a hot water bottle or wheat bag and/or cold compress or freeze gel might be better for your shoulder muscles as they'll be all inflamed, ibuprofen if it agrees with you is a good one.
